WELCOME TO EMMANUEL ACADEMY Dear Student: Welcome to Emmanuel Academy of Health & Business (EA) which is registered as a Private Career College under the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities and a member of the Ontario Association of Career Colleges (OACC), the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) and the Common Standard Group (CSG). The Common Standard Group offers standards in health care training, and registry of service providers for nursing homes and participating schools. Members of the CSG commit to training quality, testing standards and registry into the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC). The National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) gives certification based on industry standards nationally and internationally, and on extensive curriculum aspiring towards the principles of nursing, healthcare and homecare. Emmanuel Academy of Health & Business is a member in good standing of the CSG, OACC and the NACC. It is our intent to provide an encouraging, positive environment for all the attendants. It is also our intent to promote quality achievement in all we do. All training has been designed to incorporate the critical skills required for the Canadian work force. In partnership with communities, we deliver specific programs targeted to place individuals in full-time and continuing employment. Performance and productivity improvement are a challenge for all Canadians and may be achieved through skilled, knowledgeable and committed workers. Organizational security, and in turn employment security depends on continuous training/re-training evolutions. CSG graduates have had great success in their ability to find employment opportunities. We feel it is not only because of their academic skills, but also the personal management and teamwork skills which CSG incorporates into their training. This philosophy is also the standard developed by the Canadian Corporate Council of Education.
